Independent Contractor Contract Template

Hiring an independent contractor to help out with your business may make you feel like a boss. But making sure your contractors know they aren’t actually your employee is one of the most important reasons to use an Independent Contractor Contract, so you can answer questions like:

• What work are you expecting me to do, and how much am I getting paid?

• Can I work with other clients in your same industry while I’m doing work for you?

• Will I be eligible for unemployment benefits if our work relationship ends? 

The Independent Contractor Contract also includes a nondisclosure agreement that protects your clients’ and your confidential business information.  Optional non-competition terms are part of this template.
